best horror movies, best scary movies, 90s scary movies, 90's horror films

Halloween is all about scaring yourself senseless right? And the best way to do that has got to be through watching some classic horror movies.

We've put together a list of our favourites. We are taking it back, all the way to the golden days of the 90’s.  So get ready to either reminisce or watch for the first time, here is our list

I Know What You Did Last Summer (Trailer)- The one with the guy and the hook.  Enough Said. Although we should all be eternally grateful for this film as it gave us the #relationshipgoals of Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr who are going to stay together forever and ever, right...right?

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (Trailer)- The gang didn't learn their lesson the year before. With a few old faces and a few new, they have another go at trying to learn that all their secrets can never be hidden from the the scary guy with the hook. Both the 'Last Summer' films are our favourite ever scary movies.

Scream (Trailer) - The original, the most outlandish and scariest in our opinion of all the scream franchise.  We will always be a little bit terrified of those white scream masks and you know, answering the phone, thanks for that scream!

Urban Legend (Trailer)- This film is the one that we scream all the way through, there is something just terrifying about these myths that we all grew up hearing about, being brought to life on screen and with the tagline of 'Just because it didn't happen, doesn't mean it never will' they really play on that fear.  Lets be honest, we all still check the backseat of our car after we pay for petrol because of this film, I mean don't pretend that you don't...

Halloween H20 (Trailer) - A follow-up to the classic.  If you mixed all the above films together you would probably get this one.  Its got everything you want  in a scary movie and it couldn't be more perfect to watch on Halloween.

We hope you enjoy this movie throwback and don't get too scared watching them tonight.

Happy Halloween!
